(HUNTSVILLE, Ala.) Two Huntsville-based U.S. Army and Department of Defense contractors Thompson Gray and GEBC
announce their new joint venture and mentor-protégé partnership under the name Gray Venture. The companies come together to unite skill sets, leadership and expertise to reach the needs of future customers.
GEBC is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, led by U.S. Army veteran and Army Aviation subject matter expert Jason Frescholtz, who serves as chief executive officer (CEO). Specializing in software engineering and airworthiness analysis and testing, the company offers aviation software and system expertise and programmatic support services to its clients.
“As GEBC looks to expand its reach, we’re excited to lean on and learn from our mentor, Thompson Gray,” said Frescholtz. “With a proven track record of success, Thompson Gray is an ideal partner for our company, and we believe that together as Gray Venture, we can reach new heights in our joint mission to help the warfighter.”
Thompson Gray has a long-established reputation as an expert in financial and business program and project management for the Department of Defense. The company is recognized as a market leader in the optimization of the U.S. Army’s financial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) known as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). Since its founding in 2008, Thompson Gray has grown to a more than 200-employee company, with offices in Huntsville and Northern Virginia serving a variety of clients across the U.S.
“When we were first introduced to Jason and his team, we quickly noticed the strong cultural fit between Thompson Gray and GEBC,” said President of Thompson Gray Richard Manley. “Both companies lead with integrity and aim to offer the highest quality service to our customers. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together through Gray Venture.”
