Program Manager

The Program Manager will be responsible for oversight of a TEAMS-NEXT contract providing the Missile Defense Agency Program with services supporting the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The PM is responsible for the day-to-day management of the program and the overall planning, organizing, and execution of the contract.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

​

  • Managing a diverse team of highly-skilled personnel and subject-matter experts in support of the contract
     

  • Analysis and assessment of program evolution and progress through all phases of the BMDS acquisition lifestyle
     

  • Developing and/or updating policies, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDA programs
     

  • Provide cost, schedule, performance, risk, and progress updates
     

  • Providing subject matter expert (SME) support to Program Executive organizations, programs, and other functional offices for execution of MDA Mission

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business management, engineering, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred
     

  • Prior working knowledge of MDA
     

  • Minimum of 15 years experience in DOD acquisitions of major weapon systems with a minimum of 10 years management experience
     

  • Ability to lead and provide direct input in solving complex issues involving customers and stakeholders of sizable magnitude
     

  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of all organization
     

  • TS, TS/SCI, S clearance required, SCI eligible
     

  • PMP Certification preferred
